Counselor Resources

Introducing our new school counselor:  Gillian Dyall

Gillian began her career with a Masters in Clinical Psychology, and came to the US from the UK to do post-graduate work at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. She worked in traumatic brain Injury rehabilitation and mental health settings before completing her School Counseling licensure at PSU in 2010. Her first undergraduate Psychology research project was with children expressing emotions through art in elementary education, so she is very happy that she found her way back to school counseling in an elementary school. What Gillian likes best about her job is building trust with students to be able to help them deal with the real issues in their lives that get in the way of school success. She and her husband are empty nesters with three young adult children who all went through Beaverton schools. She enjoys celtic music and traditions, travel, reading, hiking, and nature, especially forest and the beach.
